Our Editorial Process

At Berry Insurance, we create content that helps you feel confident about your insurance decisions. Every blog post, guide, video, or interactive tool is designed to be accurate, clear, and human-first. Here’s how we make it happen.

1. Planning & Research

Before we write a single word, we make sure we understand what matters most to you. Our goal is to create content that’s relevant, actionable, and trustworthy.

  • We look at trending insurance topics, regulatory updates, and carrier policies.

  • We listen to our clients and community to find the questions you ask most.

Think of this as our “homework” phase — the part where we make sure we know what we’re talking about.

2. Drafting Content

Our Marketing Team — including the Content Writer, Video Producer, Community Manager and Marketing manager drafts every piece of content.

  • We follow AP Style as a foundation, with Berry Insurance’s own voice layered on top.

  • Tone is friendly, knowledgeable, and sometimes lightly witty, like a helpful friend explaining insurance.

  • We may use AI tools to spark ideas or outline concepts, but every final draft is written and refined by humans.

3. Review & Accuracy Check

We take trust seriously. Before anything is published, our content goes through a thorough review:

  • Accuracy: Facts, figures, and terminology are verified.

  • Clarity: Concepts are explained in plain language with relatable examples.

  • Consistency: Tone, branding, and formatting match Berry Insurance standards.

  • Compliance: We avoid confusing jargon and prioritize transparency.

If it doesn’t pass this stage, it doesn’t get published.

4. Final Approval

The Marketing Manager gives each piece a final check for helpfulness, accuracy, and trustworthiness. Only content that meets our high standards goes live.

5. Updates & Maintenance

Insurance rules and policies change — and so do we.

  • We regularly review published content to ensure it’s current.

  • Clients are encouraged to ask questions, helping us improve and evolve our content.

Think of it as spring cleaning … but for insurance information.

6. Our Approach to AI

AI is a tool, not a replacement. We use it for brainstorming and idea generation, but every article, guide, or video is:

  • Written by humans

  • Reviewed for accuracy and clarity

  • Aligned with our values of transparency and trust

At Berry Insurance, content is more than words — it’s a promise. A promise to give you clear, honest, and helpful information so you can make confident decisions about your insurance.
